Colin LloydColin served as the Deputy Secretary-General at the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association (CBA) in London for six years.With with the CBA, Colin developed hundreds of media training projects with major development organisations such as the World Bank, UNESCO, and the European Union. He has also served on the "United Nations World Television Forum" advisory board (1999-2001). Colin has also worked as a producer for BBC Television, and as a broadcaster and
journalist for radio stations in the US, Canada, and the UK, and he is a
graduate of the Broadcast and Media Communuications Department's radio programme at the British
Columbia Institute of Technology in Canada, and now resides in Cape Town and
works as Co-director of the Commonwealth
Health and Media Partnership.
![]() Angela Dawson PhDDr. Dawson is currently a Senior Research Fellow with the School of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales. She has worked extensively in Africa and the Asia Pacific region on the development, implementation and evaluation of health communication and media advocacy initiatives.These include working for change at the community level to the development of policy and mobilisation of resources for health at National and sub regional levels. Angela is the Chair of the WHO-RBM working committee on communications and lives in Australia. |
